HARRIS's story
Harris was surrendered to the shelter due to the previous owner unable to provide him with proper exercise. Harris cannot go to a home with any children! According to the previous owner, Harris is housebroken (barks when he needs to go out), rough when playing, shy when meeting new people and lacks basic house manners. The previous owners also say that lately, Harris hasn''t been getting along with his housemate and instigating fights, with the most recent fight resulting in him redirecting onto his owner. Harris is a young dog with a lot of pent up energy with no outlet provided which has resulted in his reacting negatively in his home. Harris may also have been abused by the man in the home, according to the previous owner, and that may be the cause of his dislike of men and trust issues. Harris will need a very patient owner that is willing to understand his needs and would have the time to properly exercise him both mentally and physically. Harris would also benefit from obedience classes or possibly a one on one class for his behavior issues.
