Description

  My story

I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it!Hello, my name is Harold, and I’m a handsome 2-year-old, 21-pound pug. I’ve already mastered potty-training and house-training, and now I’m working on my leash training and making great progress. While on walks, I tend to pull a little bit when I see other doggies or people, but that’s because I get so excited! I’ve also proven to be a quick learner with basic commands – especially when treats are involved. I’ve mastered “sit,” “stay,” “come,” and “leave it” already, and now I’m working on sitting patiently when it’s time to put on my leash and collar. I’m in pretty good shape health-wise, too, but I’m scheduled to have a neurological consultation soon to find out why I walk in circles at times.A little bit about me, you ask? I am extremely outgoing, playful, and always in a good mood. Oh, and I have A LOT of energy. (I am a young pug, after all). I love taking long, 45-minute walks, and even after those I still have energy to burn! But once it’s time to relax, I can switch gears and settle in for a good snooze. I love cuddling with you on the couch, and I’m also able to sleep all day in my crate while you’re at work with no issues. My other favorite activities include following you around the house, being the center of attention, playing with my chew toys, and greeting you when you come home. I have very little separation anxiety, so don’t worry about me when you leave; I’ll be just fine.If you like being active, but don't mind snuggling in together for some naps during the day, then I’m the pup for you! Having a yard or easy access to a place I can run around would be great, too. Gotta get that energy out, ya know! I would do well with other doggies in the home, but not sure about cats or children as I never spent too much time around them. So if we sound like a match made in heaven, let’s schedule a play date! My adoption fee is $600 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1244815##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Harold, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
