　　Harold P. Butters and Herbert “Herbie”Handsome are two brothers from another mother. Herbert is the white one, and Harold P is the peanut colored one. They have become fast friends in their foster home. Hanging out, wrestling, and doing “bro” things are their favorite pastimes. These distinguished gentlemen are both Chihuahua mixes. Herbert was from the streets. He was found wondering the streets with a peanut jar stuck on his head. Harold’s family just tossed him out

　　because they did not want him anymore. While their pasts were ruff their comebacks were greater than their setbacks! They both are super sweet and get along with the other seesters and bros in their foster home. Herbert has a heart murmur, but is otherwise healthy. Harold has thinning hair, or he may be part hairless. Either way he is smooth like butter! Herbert likes to raz him about being older, but having more hair than him. Herbie is around 12 to 13 years of age, and Harold is around 7 to 8. These bros are both vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also wormed and flea treated them both. 　　PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip.

　　ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip.

　　KITTENS AND CATS

　　$100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip.

　　Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.
