My story
09/28/22 Harley was surrendered to the shelter because her prior owner felt they could not provide her with adequate care. Harley was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, and knows a few basic commands. Harley has been very friendly with her animal tenders while at the shelter. She was said to do well with children but can take time to warm up to strangers. Harley was also said to have previously done well with the cat in the home but can be dog selective. Please use caution if choosing to introduce Harley to other canine friends. Introductions should be done in a slow, safe, and controlled environment for the best outcome. Harley was known to jump on people, and this is something her new owners may want to work on with her. Her prior owners did not state that she was a digger but while at the shelter she has dug some pretty impressive holes! Please make sure she is supervised when outdoors to avoid any escape attempts! Harley came to the shelter with a ripped-out toenail and received veterinary care immediately. She seems to be doing well and healing nicely! Harley is looking for a home that can continue to work with her and keep her both mentally and physically stimulated! Exercise and stimulation are very important! If you are interested in meeting Harley please give the shelter a call!September 30, 2022, 4:15 am
