My name is HARLEY and I'm a silly 4y M Red/Blk "Chiweenie" (Dachshund/Chihuahua X) I'm 13 lbs of PURE SHY GUY. I was given up because my owner passed away so I'm a bit "lost". I'm a nervous little guy and shy upon first meeting but once I know you I'm you're shadow. Because I was mostly kept in the apt, I'm a bit skittish outside and am getting used to the great outdoors and being walked, but need further leash training. I'm good with other dogs and cats but I've not been around small kids so it's best if I go with older kids ages 10 yrs + due to my nervous nature. Since city life is a bit hectic and scary for me and I do tend to bark when I hear loud noises; I would love to be in a quiet home in the suburbs/country with a fenced in yard as my terrier instinct tells me to chase squirrels. I would love to be with another dog to give me support; but would be fine with someone that could devote alot of their time and energy to make me a more secure and balanced dog and the "apple of their eye" I am a sweet boy and deserve lots of love and attention to become the gem of a dog I can be.
