Happy's story

　　I lived with dogs in my previous home.

　　I don't have a history with cats, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.

　　Due to my size, personality, I'm a better fit for homes with older children/adults.

　　A big, (almost 84 pounds) calm, gentle guy who needs a little time to feel comfortable with you, Happy is affectionate but not a hugger or someone who demands attention, though he might jump up at times. Although he's good on leash, he doesn't appear to be much of walker-he goes slowly (like he's unsure of things) and if he is startled by a loud noise he stops and is ready to return to his kennel/home. Happy will sit for treats and takes them very gently. Although he seems fine with other dogs, like most shepherds he likes to chase cats and would do best in a home without children where he can receive time and positive reinforcement to be comfortable and happy.
