Halsey's story
Halsey was found as a stray, unfortunately we have very minimal information on his history. It took him some time to adjust to the shelter setting. He was very stressed out and didnt want to be handled for the first couple of days. He would growl and hiss, but did not try to bite. After the first couple of days, he started to become more relaxed and enjoyed being pet! He was very affection and rubbing up against hands and started to become more comfortable with the examiners. Due to the nature of how he came to the shelter, we do not have information on how well he would do with dogs, children, or other cats.
Halsey is on a special diet for some urinary troubles. It would be best if he stayed in a low stress home that would be able to upkeep with his basic medical needs. His only prescription at this time per our shelter veterinary is the C/D diet.
For feeding recommendations and possible continuation of diet, adopter must follow up with their vet of choice.
