My story

　　Half n Half is the pawfect blend!Hello, there! My name is Half n’ Half. True to my name, I’m half adventures and half snuggles! I’m a 2-year-old, 60-pound, spayed lab mix. I’d been going a little heavy on the coffee creamer (if you know what I mean) so now I’m on a weight management diet. Otherwise, I’m as healthy as can be with the creamiest, softest coat. I was recently rescued from Tijuana with the rest of my brew… ahem, I mean crew! I’ve quickly made myself at home with my foster, but can’t wait to find a furever family.I’m a curious girl who loves to explore the outdoors. I love smelling all the smells and running around! I do great in the car, so I’m always down for adventures. I’m not a fan of other dogs, so I do best as a solo pooch. I’m interested in cats on walks but have never met one up close and pawsonal. Me and my hooman is all I need! I get along great with kiddos too. When I’m not playing fetch with my person or going on a nice long walk, I’m the cuddliest cutie. I love snuggling up with you for a nap or some pets.I’m already house, bathroom, and crate trained! I need to be lured into my crate with a treat, but once I’m there, I can relax for hours. Did I mention I’m obsessed with treats? I’m incredibly food motivated, so I think training is the best! I already know sit, stay, down, and come. I get so excited about walk-time that I pull on the leash. But you know what they say… practice makes pawfect! I can be hesitant of other dogs or men and might growl or bark when someone goes by. I’d love to continue training and building my confidence with you!If you’re looking for a 60-pound lap dog who will love you endlessly, I’m your girl! I would do best in a home with an active family or with a yard to explore. I’m happiest with people around, so the more hoomans the better— no pups though, please!
