This king by H.N. White double french horn has alot of history to it.  The serial number dates it to 1940, and it is a United States Navy issued horn. This is a professional French horn with a very warm tone.  It has had lots of work to bring it back to great playing Condition and has had a adjustable palm rest and water keys added to it.  It has the Mercury Dimes added to the paddles and there has been some new plating work done to repair worn areas.   This is not only a antique, a world War 2 collectable, a professional French horn and a very thick walled instrument with a very smooth even sound.  The rotors have good compression and all slides pull with ease.  This is a excellent horn to play and for a conversation piece while playing.
