　　Meet little Guthrie! Guthrie is a 4 year old, 12 corgi- Chihuahua mix. Guthrie really wants to be loved at first he had a hard time trust people and can be a little awkward. We dont think he had much human interaction so his new adopter will need to be patient with him. He has slowly come around and become a very snuggly, cuddly and loving little boy. He enjoys toys and tennis balls and loves his little bunny. He gets excited and races around the house while enjoying holding a sock in his mouth. He likes going on walks and is great on the leash. He has learned to use the doggy door and appears to be potty trained . He likes to lounge around in his doggy beds and to sleep with his foster mom at night, he can also be found sleeping in the corner of an open closet.

　　Guthrie is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. Please go to Second Chance Dog Rescue's website at: http://secondchancedogrescue.org/adopt-a-dog/adoption-application/ to complete an application to meet him. His adoption fee is $250.00 which helps the rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.

　　All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.

　　We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.

　　All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.

　　Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
