My story
Gus is an 10-month-old male Terrier mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He is an owner turn in to PAHS because he was too active to be in the home with the family's older dogs. Gus is solid black with the exception of a white spot on his chest. He currently weighs 32 pounds and he is considered to be a medium sized dog. Gus is a frisky fellow who has a super playful attitude about everything. He would greatly appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. Gus is good with other dogs and children but due to his activity level it would probably be best if he was in a home with older children. Gus might accidentally knock down a small child. Gus is both leash trained and house trained. If your family would like a great new companion who would love to participate in all the family's outdoor adventures Gus would be perfect for your family. He is just a great all around dog! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
