My story

　　Meet Guero! Guero is an approximately 6 year old Alaskan Malamute mix who came into our care back in October of 2022! Guero came in not only extremely malnourished, but severely matted as well. The Matts were so extreme it did result to him having to be shaved down, which is the main reason as to why he is currently not listed as avaible for adoption. We are currently working on getting him at a happy health weight as well as maintaining his fur and skin. Guero, despite going through all of these obstacles, has the best personality in the shelter! He never frowns! He is the sweetest, goofiest, go-lucky dog here at VAC, he loves to hop around at our dog park, chew on bones and play fetch! Guerro is a puppy at heart with his bouncy behaviors and is love for attention. He has joined play groups with other dogs including the dog he came with "Akira" and he has a very loud play style. It can sound intimidating but he is all noise. He loves to be tackled and will put those giant paws in the air for some belly rubs.
