Greyhound - Tulsa - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Tulsa is a nearly 5 year old male recently retired from a long race career. His small dog and cat status is unknown. I?m Tulsa, but I?m sure not in Oklahoma! I landed in good old Tucson, yea for me! I?m an amber, small brindle boy, long legged and lean, just waiting for you to spoil me with good eats and treats. A pile of new, squeaky toys, waiting just for me, on a new doggie bed, all my own, would be awesome! Once I pass ?paw camp? in my foster home, I?ll be ready to move in with you. Move over kitty, hound coming in! FOSTER UPDATE: Tulsa ? who answers to Jack - is a curious, confident dog that is adjusting well to life in a home. One of his favorite spots is his doggie bed on the outside patio. When he becomes excited about going for a walk or a ride in the car, his doggie smile turns into air snaps. Sometimes he gets a little exuberant and jumps, but as time passes, he is becoming calmer. Tulsa seems pretty well adjusted when left alone for a while. He is house trained without a doggie door, but his fosters suspect that he would love the freedom a doggie door offers when he moves into a permanent placement. Tulsa is not crated as there are no behavior problems. He eats with gusto; no foods seem to bother his digestive system. On his daily walks, he happily greets dogs of all sizes and is the perfect gentleman. He doesn?t pull on the leash. Tulsa seems to enjoy grooming and doesn?t squirm when it?s time to have his ears cleaned. He is learning some basic commands: wait, bed, down, outside, etc. Occasionally, when excited, Tulsa entertains the neighborhood with Roos! This dog is nearly ready for a permanent home. Line up people, because he won?t be around long.
