Greyhound - Taylor - Large - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Taylor is a 4 year old new to rescue from a moderately long race career. He is very mellow. Taylor is a most loving hound and comes for hugs and nose rubs. He has discovered toys and loves them. His small dog and cat status is unknown at this time. FOSTER: I?m in foster learning to be a good boy. I overheard my foster mom tell a friend that I?ve had no accidents in the house, and I leave her stuff alone. Foster mom also said, ?Taylor is the most loving hound ever. He comes to you for hugs and nose rubs. He has discovered squeaky toys and loves them.? Good report card, don?t you think? FOSTER UPDATE: Taylor is totally house trained, without a doggie door. He will bark at the door or claw it or come get you and talk to you if you aren't listening to him.

　　He is very vocal. When I leave the house, he talks and scolds you and does a little barking, but then will settle down. He would need to be with other dogs, as he always wants to play and is used to being part of a pack.

　　He loves his squeaky toys and tosses them in the air and carries them around. He will take them outside with him, so they are scattered all over the backyard.

　　He sleeps all night and eats well. He does growl in his sleep or if someone bumps his bed while he is sleeping. He had a severe ear infection when we took him in and I think he still remembers the pain when he was bumped. He does not try to bite, just the growl and once you talk to him, he stops. He would do well in a family with older teens or someone willing to give him a lot of exercise, since he loves to play and would relish the extra activity.

　　He seems to know his name and comes when you call him. He understands "no" and "leave it", although he thinks about it for a minute to see if you have changed your mind. He has never been crated while I am gone and he loves shoes and anything on the floor that is yours, so if you are a messy housekeeper, some of your stuff will have chew marks on it and your socks will end up out in the backyard with the other toys.

　　He is an affectionate boy and will come to you for hugs and belly rubs.

　　He would be a loving member of your family.
