My story
Sweet Gretel and her sibling, Gizmo, were adopted together as kittens. They were recently returned to us due to an allergy situation with their humans. Gretel will need a little bit of time to adjust to a new home environment and to new people. She is sweet, affectionate and playful. Gretel gives kisses and enjoys belly rubs and being held. Gretel will do best in a home without children or dogs. Gretel is looking for a home with kind, patient and loving humans who will give her the time to adjust and feel safe, secure and loved in her new environment. If you are looking to adopt two young cats (a bit past the crazy kitten stage but still young), consider adopting Gretel and her sibling, Gizmo together as they have been together since birth. Gretel and/or Gizmo may be the perfect forever companions to complete your family.
Please note: Gretel is shown as a Maine Coon Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies.Gretel is shy and needs a quiet home with no dogs and no young children. (The San Diego Humane Society offers a Shy Cat training class over Zoom.)More information & application [ts=41&src=aap]
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gretel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
