Each set has the author's most popular works (e.g. Symphony No. 5 for Beethoven, Rondo alla Turca for Mozart) but likewise had a few of their lesser recognized pieces. The complete series very covers everybody from the Baroque to the very early Modern period (Bach to Copland). The records come in durable, attractive boxes with anti-scratch sleeves and a pamphlet containing the history of the composer and notes on each consisted of recording. Numerous of the recordings are sourced from the well-regarded RCA Living Stereo series.
