Remy is an eight year old grade mare, bay in color, and about 15 hands tall. She has a solid build that could easily carry a larger rider. She is totally road/traffic safe--nothing seems to bother her. She has been passed by dump trucks, road equipment, even an eighteen wheeler with barely a flinch. She has great feet and does not need shoes, even on a dirt road. I would recommend her for anyone who is comfortable walk trot canter. A confident beginner or advanced beginner would have no trouble with her. She has been my horse for the last two years, and I have never had an issue with her. She rides very well in an S style hackamore, direct reins (English style) and can be ridden in a western saddle, English saddle,or bareback. She goes out on the trails alone or with others. She has been a real confidence builder for me-she has helped me to go from a timid beginner rider to a more confident intermediate rider. I love this horse, so a great home is a MUST. The only reason I am selling is because I am ready for a horse that I can jump, ride in the ring, and take to shows. Remy is just happier out on the trails than doing ring work or jumping.A person who loves trail riding as much as she does would be ideal. $1500 to a good home
