Daneker the "PRESIDENT" Moon-phase, Westminster chime, Grandfather Clock is made with Solid Cherry Wood.
It is 79" tall, the base is 17" by 10 ", the top is 26" tall and is 19" by 11". The middle area measures about 12" large and is 8" in depth. The clock is in terrific working condition and keeps ideal time. The Westminster Chimes are remarkable; the tone makes the most of the high quality solid wood case. They have to be heard to be believed!
The clock's system was made by Fauch (the back of the motion is stamped with number 96) in West Germany for Daneker. The Clock determines 79" Tall. The top of the case has a removable hood. The really top, swan neck pediments has a repair crack on it. The Clock has the front door secret. Opens and closes nicely. The wood has some minor scratches which have been retouched. The clock weights are ideal. The Clock is very Cool Piece with very nice wood working that is unmatched. The Moon Dial shows the stages of the moon as the days and weeks pass.
Daneker clocks were made in Fallston, Maryland by Mr. Daneker and his sons starting in the late 40s. The manufacturing facility burned down in 1969 and Daneker ceased all Manufacturing.

The Daneker clocks were hand made by careful wood artisans. The Daneker household is still included with the Daneker clocks just in the repair and restoration of clocks.
