My story
I know what you
re thinking. Another black dog. I came from a killer Shelter that Euthanized for space and time. My time was up. Since a lot of people don
t like to adopt black dogs, kill shelters don
t feel they should give us extra time, like those cute fluffy dogs. Unlike fluffies, I
m low maintenance. I don
t need to have my hair cut regularly, so I
m cheap. I
m small, at 14.5 pounds, so I don
t eat too much, again low cost, and because I
m 11 years old, my adoption fee is way less then those fuffy dogs. Oh yeah, I can write my own autobiography. How many terriers do you know that write? The answer is none, because someone else is doing the writing, I
m just dictating. HaHa. Terriers are pretty smart though. You thought I was done, but, no. Here
s some information about me, the rest was just to get your attention. My name is Grady and once they take me to the play yard, which I love, I unwind and get comfortable with people. Once I
m comfy, I enjoy being petted. The more treats you give me the more comfy I get. I have lots of dog friends. Fernando, that arrived with me, over a year ago, got adopted last week. I gave you the good and now I will tell you what I need. Since I lack some confidence, here
s how you can help me. Have patience, I
ll show you I
m worth it, and don
t forget the treats. Please give me a home that is comfy and we can work together to love each other. They say that people that adopt black dogs live a longer and happier life. I just made that up about black dogs specifically.
