Gracie's story

　　Grace is a sweetie! She is around ten years old and is a beautiful gray color. She has the cutest short tail and when she runs in the yard she looks like a little rabbit! She loves lying on the back of the couch and taking long naps. She will lay in your arms, on your lap and snuggle too :) She is medium energy level. She will run and play in the yard but is content in a low energy environment too. She has been around children as young as 6 and has done fine. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and has no issues whatsoever with other dogs. She has not been around cats but I think she would probably do fine. She does not like to be in a crate and will whine, but other than whining she does fine. She would do fine if she had to be crated while someone worked or was away from home. At night she will sleep quietly in a dog bed and not make a peep all night. She goes outside to potty and will use a wee pad inside if she needs to go during the night or while we are away. She will go to the door and ask to be let outside. She does have a heart murmur and is on some medication which she will need to continue with her adopter, but it does not appear to affect her day to day living. She is missing some teeth but doesn't have trouble eating. We give her canned dog food but catch her stealing the other dogs' dry dog food too, so she isn't hampered by having missing teeth :)
