　　Our dogs are placed in the Phoenix metro area. No exceptions.

　　Adoption begins with a Foster-To-Adopt arrangement that continues until the

　　Grace is old enough to be spayed/neutered. Adoption can then be finalized.

　　Grace is intelligent and very playful! She's already well-trained and thrives on two long walks each day - she's a born hiker! Grace seeks a home with at least one other medium-sized dog - adopters with herding breed experience who are home most of the time preferred. Since we lack fosters with very young children, we're accepting applications for families with children older than eight years. **Please carefully read Grace's entire profile: she ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE a same-size or larger dog playmate in her new home!**

　　If you believe you're a match for Grace, please complete our adoption application, detailing your experience with training and socializing Australian Shepherds or other herding breed.

　　We will be gathering and reviewing applications for a period of weeks before making any decisions as to Grace's placement.

　　Our fees and policies are on our home page at BetterDaysRescue.org. We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio or photos are updated. Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters; as long as a dog is designated "Available" we continue to accept applications.

　　"Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)

　　"Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly dog that lives in the same household.

　　We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.

　　We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
