Our beautiful Gorgeous girl is looking for a family of her very own. Gorgeous and her son Fawndi, were surrendered to animal control when their owners could no longer afford their medical expense. Both dogs suffered from sever allergies and years of not getting appropriate medical treatment. Their skin was itchy, they were missing hair and had secondary infection spread throughout their entire body. Poor Gorgeous looks as if she had many litters in her 10 years on this earth. We are so thankful after all they both had been through that their owner finally did the right thing and surrendered them to animal control, that gave us an opportunity to rescue them, get them healthy and feeling good so that they can find a family that will cherish them as they deserve for the rest of their lives. We fell in love with both Gorgeous and Fawndi the day we met them. Two of the most genuinely perfect, sweet, deserving souls to walk this earth. Sadly Gorgeous son Fawndis Journey ended with us in November. He was battling a very serious medical condition and passed away in his sleep one night. His loss crushed us all and we still miss him still. Fawndis last stop in his journey was with us his rescue, his family. For Gorgeous, we want her to have the opportunity to find forever again. With any senior we know that it is much harder to find them a home because of their age, and for Gorgeous because of her sever allergies it will be even harder. We are up for the challenge though because in our eyes she is a gem, a diamond in the rough and so deserving of a loving family. Gorgeous is wonderful! Great with people and kids. We are now doing intros with her since losing Fawndi and giving her some time to adjust. Most likely she will do best with male dogs her size or bigger.
