My story
Gordo was rescued from a hoarder's house. About 11 year old mix breed that weighs 23.6 lbs. He has early cataracts in both eyes so maybe his hesitation to walk around is due to some vision impairment although vet thinks he can see well enough to get around. Vet also feels he is just really scared. Maybe he wasn't treated well previously. His heartworm/Lyme test was Negative so he will start on Heartgard. Blood and fecal test are pending. He has a heart murmur. He is not neutered. His teeth have some plaque but not terrible. He also has mild arthritis in his hip joints. We all think once he comes out of his shell he will walk ok. He's a very sweet dog just very scared. We'd love to find him a patient forever home, but we would consider foster to adopt. He does need a new foster (we may have found one but not sure so please inquire about foster to adopt program). Please contact us DIRECTLY using the instructions below if you are interested in fostering or adopting one of our Waggytails!
