My story

　　Hi there, I'm Gopher. I'm a 9-year-old lady who's been at Cat Care Society for almost 300 days but have been in the shelter environment for much longer. I know I may not always show well in pictures, but I can be adorable in my own way. Maybe you've noticed my cute ear? I understand that most senior cats get overlooked at the shelter. Sometimes we may look grumpy (I'm guilty of this, whoops!), or we have some health issues (URI and kidney issues), which is why most people tend to go for younger cats. I promise though I can be quite the sweetheart if you try to get to know me, and my health issues can be maintained with a proper diet and regular vet check ups. I'm just looking for a quiet home to live out my golden years, play with some strings toys, look out the window, and snuggle up with someone who loves to give pets as much as I love receiving them. My foster mom has been taking great care of me as I get a bit sad when I'm in the shelter, so I'm hoping to find a more permanent residence soon. Please consider opening your home to a sweet senior lady, I promise I'm worth it!
