Golden Retriever - Rolf - Large - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Rolf is a true Lucky Dog Rescue success story. He was found as a stray, sick and weak, and tested positive for parvovirus, a contagious and often deadly disease. Parvo treatment is very expensive, but we knew our family of Lucky Dog Rescue supporters would help us save him. We put out a plea to help cover his expensive treatment and within hours got the funds needed to save Rolf. Rolf is now completely healed up, and is back to being a playful, fun, 1-year old Golden/Lab mix! You'd never know that he was on deaths door a few weeks ago. Rolf is a smart boy, and learns quickly. He will need training, so be prepared to invest the time. Rolf needs to be taught that jumping up on people is not OK, and that he should not dig in the yard. Good dogs don't just happen, they take work. Because he's young, and still in need of training, he'd be best in a home without small kids.He would also do best in a home with another playful dog.
