Say hello to Morocco, fondly known as Rocco. Rocco was rescued from a horribly neglectful situation where he'd lived for over 4 very long years. But somehow that didn't seem to tarnish his gentle, friendly demeanor at all. Once we got those 100+ fleas off him, his tail started wagging, his gorgeous brown eyes brightened, and it was if he just knew his life had changed for the better. Rocco does wonderfully with children, adults, cats, and big dogs. He'd be fine with just about any type of family situation... with kids or without, with a retired person who just wants a buddy to hang out with...He has such a warm and gentle temperamentt. He's good on leash - loves to go for long walks and likes to ride in the car and enjoys being groomed and to snuggle. He's not a fan of little dogs, they seem to annoy him. But he's currently being fostered with a litter of puppies and is very gentle with them.... go figure. He does have some food aggression but it is getting better. He's neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped.
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog. We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
