Stevie Rae was rescued from a High Desert shelter, where she had ended up as stray. When no-one came to claim her we took her in to our rescue. Stevie weighs around 52-lbs, so is on the small size.
Stevie's blood work is stellar, no kidney or liver issues, just diabetic...... Stevie-Rae is very gentle. She is an expert at navigating her surroundings and likes nothing more to chill out and relax in the sunshine. Stevie gets two insulin injections a day and other than that she is pretty easy going maintenance-wise. Stevie-Rae is a true lady and gets along well with everyone....She walks about three miles a day, loves trips to the beach and enjoys playing with her foster fur-brother Stanley, an 80-lbs Labrador. Stevie, in her mind, does not have any disabilities.
Our adoption process is outlined here: http://ocpoundhounds.com/how-to-adopt/ if you would like to fill our an application to meet her.
