This gorgeous Godin guitar is in excellent condition. It has a solid tone, great sustain (amazing for a tremolo bridge) and the acoustic sound is about as authentic as you'll find. It's a different kind of guitar, so if you've never heard of them look it up on youtube. There, you can find different demonstrations of the guitar, including the acoustic. As far as the electric part of this is concerned, Ill put this up against any Strat anytime!
This is a really special guitar. While I've been a playing for about 50 years, it has been mainly acoustic or acoustic electric for the latter part of those years. My point is that this particular guitar has barely been played. It has the very rare black pearl paint that looks like it is sprayed with gold specks when the light hits hit a certain way. It is actually quite beautiful. Very few of these guitars even had a pick guard and those that did, did not have a mirrored one like this one. The only negative about that is the mirror shows the least little scratches, even though this guitar hasnt been played all that much....it even still has the plastic on the back plates.
BTW, this guitar comes with a hardshell case which has a couple of small scratches on the upper left front. See pics. This is worth at least $100 by itself.
Just to make sure everything was up to specifications I recently had a professional guitar luthier do a complete set-up on the guitar including:
-truss rod adjustment to set neck relief
-saddles adjusted for action and intonation
-checked and tightened all hardware
-cleaned up electronics
-replaced strings with 10s
So whoever purchases this guitar will find it ready to go. You wont need to have anything done to it. Even down to the strings! Its ready to play.

The Godin Solidac, Two-Voice:
Solidac - Two-Voice The Solidac is the latest Godin model to offer the two-voice concept. It combines the sound of magnetic pickups (electric guitar) with a bridge transducer system for acoustic sounds. This guitar offers players the versatility of a humbucker-single-humbucker pickup configuration along with a transducer-equipped tremolo bridge. All of this sonic power comes in an instrument that sports the same ultra comfortable Mahogany neck found on the LGX with a Silver Leaf Maple body. Individual outputs are provided for the magnetics and the bridge, with the bridge output doubling as a mix out for both signals when used alone. There is an internal preamp voiced to provide excellent acoustic sound when used with any full range system and it produces very good acoustic tone even when plugged into a regular guitar amp. The Solidac represents an opportunity for players on a tighter budget to consider a two-voice concept guitar that retains all of the hand-finished quality that is a standard feature in every Godin instrument.
