Description

  My story

Glinda & Emmett are a mother-and-son bonded pair who were rescued from an Inland Empire shelter after being confiscated from a hoarding situation. Glinda was a teen mom who had her babies when she was only 6-12months old herself! She was placed with Emmett because he was the runt of the litter. She is the fluffiest, goofiest girl. She loves to fall asleep on her back so the breeze can gently ruffle her belly. She loves to stare at the birds and squirrels outside, preferably from a perch on the back of the couch or from a cat tree. She likes to be in the same room as you, and has no issue letting you know how excited she is for meal time. She will sleep on the bed with you at night, and while she won't wake you up before your alarm goes off, she will be there to let you know it's time to get up once she knows you're awake. Her floofy pantaloons, her bottle brush tail, her glorious mane, and her long whiskers make her look so cute it's practically like looking at a cartoon! Emmett is a bit more of a sleek panther, but his natural agility is more in the klutz category. His big ears and long legs and tail are very endearing. He also gets very excited about mealtime, and will happily sleep on your lap while you work from home - although he's also always ready to play! Both kitties love the feather wand and chasing around small balls of crinkly paper. Emmett developed a bladder stone that was successfully removed surgically, and this just means he cannot eat dry food anymore. Both kitties will eat each other's food, so it's best for both of them to be on wet food only with a low mineral content. Neither of them are on any medications, and are generally quite healthy otherwise. They can be a bit shy at first, and like most kitties, don't love loud or abrupt noises. And, they will do better in a house without dogs. Overall, these are two very sweet kitties who are low-maintenance but guaranteed to bring joy and smiles to anyone lucky enough to get them!
