Gingersnap's story
This cutie is Gingersnap. Gingersnaps mom, Cookie, was at a local shelter very pregnant. Thanks to their wonderful foster mom, Cookie gave birth to 6 healthy pups. They are the cutest and fuzziest little pups youll ever meet.
Gingersnaps beautiful, soft coat is a shade darker than her siblings so it is always easy to spot Ginger in the puppy pile! She has the most striking white markings on her face and head, adorable white booties on her feet, and a cute little white-tipped tail. Ginger is sometimes cautious at first but this sweet, affectionate girl warms up very quickly. She loves being with people just as much as she loves playing with her brothers and sisters.
We did a DNA test on one of the pups and they have quite a mix.. 65% is mixed breeds, 25% was chihuahua. Their mom Cookie, weighs 16 lbs and is a beautiful small white dog with the gentlest and sweetest temperament. She is 25% chihuahua and had beagle, terrier and other breeds mixed in.
Gingersnap was born on December 16, and will be available for adoption at 9 weeks old, around Feb. 15. They are available for pre adoption, and you schedule to meet Gingersnap and her siblings by filling out a non binding application at http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Gingersnap will be spayed and current on age appropriate shots as well as microchipped and current on preventatives upon adoption. She is located in Huntsville, AL, but is happy to travel wherever her new journey leads.
