We are looking for a new home for our two-year-old female hound-shepherd mix she has a “short- coat” and weighs 60 lbs. She is such a good-natured and loving dog, we are hoping that a new family can adopt her and make her part of their family. We adopted Ginger about 6 months ago but then I lost my job in the spring and now I am starting a new job but it will be some 10-hour days with an hour-long commute on each end and there is just no way that we can keep her because I am a divorced mom and I can no longer care for her with my new job. Ginger is spayed and leash trained and knows her basic commands. She can be in the house for 6-8 hours at a time without any potty accidents. She absolutely loves kids and is so gentle with them. She is also good with cats. She is very content in the backyard and has never tried to leave the yard. Ginger is a smart dog and she has such a sweet disposition.
