Gina Rose's story
Our sweet Gina girl was found tied to a sign-post in the rain, so confused and scared she barked herself hoarse before she was found and taken in. As soon as she realized she was safe, she jumped right into a lap and snuggled in for comfort, and has rarely left since. This 60lb lap dog is full of not only cuddles, but plenty of bully zoomies, she loves to chase and play with other dogs. She knows basic commands, like sit, off, and come, and is incredibly food motivated (so learns quickly for treats!). She has excellent house and crate manners and walks really well on a leash with a gentle leader. She does show a tendency to be a little too interested in feline friends, so it's probably best that she goes to a cat-free home. Beyond her stunning good looks, she is affectionate with her people and dogs. She needs a tiny bit of time to realize that new people are going to kind to her, but once she knows you're one of the good peoples, she's your very best friend. Her favorite things are bedtime, laying in laps, tossing her bone in the air and chasing it, dogpiles, and zoomies in the yard. She also appears to do fine with children, as it was kids who found her and kept her company while stranded.
