My story

　　Hiya! I'm Gilligan and boy was I having an adventure when I was rescued by the kind deputies of Animal Control. It seems that I was running around a local park without my owner! I don't know exactly how I landed in the park, but I desperately wanted to find my owner. Fortunately a kind stranger wanted to help so he called Animal Control. I waited at the shelter my allotted time, but I was never claimed. Now I am ready for adoption! The shelter made sure I was ready to meet new folks by giving me all of my vaccinations, they tested me for heartworms and I was negative, they gave me a microchip, and they made sure I was neutered. I am an eighteen-month-old terrier mix and I have quickly become an employee and volunteer favorite because I am such a big love bug! If you have a lap I will find it and sit in it for your undivided love and attention!! You don't mind if a fifty-five pound dog sits in your lap do you?
