Getty is a young male cat that is slowly coming out of his shell.

　　Getty LOVES to play with his male cat friend, Brutus!

　　Brutus has shown Getty how to be playful & outgoing.

　　As you can see he loves to play with toys with you - but really prefers we go slow with him.

　　He is friendly for sure - he's just not sure if your friend or foe unless you go slowly with him.

　　He's taken to one of the Staff members that works with him daily - he isn't afraid of her.

　　He just needs a patient owner that will take time to do a decent meet & greet and then let him warm up on his own.

　　Toys are the way to his heart.

　　The shelter is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

　　AND the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

　　We are located at 2019 S. 3rd Street just behind Price Chopper (at the intersection of Marion Street & 3rd Street).

　　If you are interested in adopting a cat - we encourage you to bring your dog(s) if any, in on leash so we can do a meet & greet, to ensure a good match.

　　Please bring your own cat carrier if you plan to adopt.

　　We ask that you give any pet you adopt a slow introduction to your new home & his new surroundings.

　　Setting the pet up for success by letting them come out on there own &

　　not be handled by rowdy family members, is a good plan.

　　We are open for adoptions Monday through Friday 9-5 (except holidays) and the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10-2.

　　Shelter wish list: dry & wet cat & kitten food, non-clumping cat litter, cat beds, potty pads, laundry pods, dry & wet dog food, flea & tick prevention, paper towels, Magic erasers, cat treats & dog treats.

　　HARD dog toys that can be filled with peanut butter & frozen, 5 foot flat leashes, sturdy buckle (not snap) dog collars - all sizes. THANK YOU!
