German Shorthaired Pointer - Mickey - Large - Adult - Female

　　Mickey is a 7-year old female German Short Hair Pointer mix. She is mid-sized, weighs 40 lbs, beautiful white with black patches and spots. Mickey is micro-chipped, spayed, and updated with all her vaccines. Mickey is super sporty, extremely intelligent, and loves people. Mickey was socialized with other dogs from early puppyhood, but does play better with same size or bigger size dogs. She is well trained and knows tricks such as sit, lay down, up, roll over, shake hands, high five, and play dead. In Mickey's foster home, they discovered that she is an AMAZING working dog--she will do party tricks for everyone! She loves to be in any water, retrieve things and just swim around getting exercise. She acts like a puppy again, it's quite entertaining and fun! She is such a fun dog to take to the beach! She will swim with you! When she see's a body of water, she acts as if she HAS to get in! Her foster family started taking just her to the beach so they can enjoy her having fun without the distraction of her many pack members. If her forever home would take her just to swim as often as they could, they'd have her heart forever. Mickey has received in-home private training and obedience classes from dog trainer Eric Dorfman (/home.cfm) and K9 Social Club (/). Mickey comes with a life-long training/consulting package from Eric Dorfman: there will be a 3-hour in-home visit to be scheduled shortly after Mickey finds a new home, Mr. Dorfman will come to demonstrate advanced skills to handle Mickey (or any dog), and he will be at the reference for any further questions or concerns related to Mickey thereafter. Mickey also has the privilege to attend K9 Social Club's training lessons whenever it is needed as a bonus feature from Mr. Dorfman's training package. Mickey can be the best companion dog for families without young children but love outdoor activities! Since Mickey is really smart (she definitely can outsmart her owner), it is recommended that new owner should have previous dog experience.
