This is Zack, a one to two year old male German Shepherd. He is a big boy, weighing 72 pounds and could stand a few more pounds on him. Look at his paws, they are huge! Zack has a black and tan thick coat. He was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been picked up by Animal Control and no one came to claim him. Zack is a very nice, well-mannered dog. He is very friendly and so smart. He knows sit and shake and maybe more but certainly could be trained to learn more. Zack seems to get along well with other dogs but he does tend to be dominant with female dogs. He should be fine with children but may be better if the kids are over 12 due to his size. He MUST have a fenced in yard, a home check will be done to make sure. Zack has started on his crate training. He is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative and is micro chipped. We have started him on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. German Shepherds are wonderful pets and so loyal to their owner, you would be very lucky to have this great dog as your new best friend.
