　　Show Gracie the grace of a good home!

　　This baby is Gracie, an 8 month old (as of 7/12) female German Shepherd mix puppy. Her owner did not want her or her mom (a sibling of Gracie's had been killed by a car a week prior to rescue). Gracie kept visiting a neighbor, probably a plea for help, and the neighbor rescued them from horrible conditions. She and her mom were covered with ticks and spent a week at the vet being nursed to health.

　　Gracie has had a round of puppy shots, been spayed and treated for mange. As most pups, she is very playful and eager to learn. She is sweet and loves to play fetch. She is very smart already and knows how to sit and leave it. She is working on "stay" and is house trained. She seems to get along very well with other dogs and cats and should be fine with children but remember, she is still a puppy so she is mouthy and jumpy.

　　Gracie is 45 pounds and will be a good size dog when full grown so best to work with her now to teach her manners so she will be a well behaved dog when much bigger! Gracie is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
