　　Hi everyone! My name is Trip and I am a tripod. Just because I have three legs doesn't mean I don't live my life to the fullest. I get around as good as those four legged dogs. In fact, one of my favorite things to do is to go for a walk. Sometimes at my foster mom's house, I feel a little lazy though and scoot from place to place. I got a little sad after my best friend and long time companion, Darlin, was adopted; but now that I am in a foster home I am my happy tail-wagging self. Being in a foster home has done wonders for lifting my spirit! I love to follow my foster mom around the house, give her my paw to shake, and sneak in a few kisses. I am very loyal, loving, and protective. I would be a great companion for someone looking for a best friend. I get along with most dogs and would do best in a home with older children. I have a goofy side so if you choose me, not only will you get unconditional love, but a few laughs as well. I am approximately six years old (as of December 2013) and weigh about seventy-five pounds. I am listed as special needs only because I am missing a leg.
