German Shepherd Dog - Dexter - Large - Young - Male - Dog
Meet DEXTER! It's not easy being a triplet, but Dexter has learned to excel regardless. He's a perfectly happy young boy with a great disposition and prefers to spend his days wagging, not barking. Dexter is well adjusted towards other dogs his own size or larger and loves anyone who is willing to play!
Dexter is a subtle love, calm and mature for his young age. He prefers to snuggle more than knock you over when he gives his affection. Dexter is all dog, being wonderful, playful and hungry for direction. He is comfortable in a crate, happy around other dogs and loves to go for long walks. Although Dexter wasn't taught his commands, it appears as though he is quicker than most to learn. He is at an extremely desirable age to train, to work with and sculpt into the perfect best friend you could ever have hoped to have!If you are interested in meeting Dexter, please contact us via email at [email removed]. Don't forget to fill out our online application.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Please click on Events to see where we'll be next!
