German Shepherd Dog - Cosmo - Large - Young - Male - Dog
Cosmo is the shyest of the triplets: Wanda and Dexter, his siblings, yet Cosmo has all the love and affection you?ll ever need. This young man is keenly attentive and wonderfully playful. Cosmo will do best in a home with confident K-9 companionship to share his days with. He?s friendly, inquisitive, smart, and full of the healthy energy that comes from youth. Cosmo is the ruff and the wag your life has been missing.
If you study Cosmo?s photos, you?ll get a very good understanding of this young stud?s personality. His young mind is always searching, always aware of his surroundings and forever seeking to please.
Cosmo hasn?t had anyone to work with him on his walking skills, yet that will come in time and training. He?s very quick to understand a correction and has an uncanny ability to understand what you want from him. We feel this is proof of his general good nature and a very high IQ. Currently, Cosmo tends to be very shy and he does wonderfully around other confident canines, however this should pass quickly when he becomes comfortable in his new forever home. Nothing helps a young dog to succeed in life more than love and consistency.

Upon receipt a volunteer will typically be in touch within 24 - 48 hours
The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Please click on Events to see where we'll be next!
