German Shepherd Dog - Bruce - Large - Young - Male - Dog

　　In his short life, Bruce has already had two homes. He thought both of them would have been a forever home but that's not what happened. One owner was deployed and the second said that Bruce (whom he described as a really good friend) deserves a wonderful life but that he is no longer able to keep him. Now Bruce is with us and he's been told that a forever home may be just around the corner! Bruce loves to play but he's certain that stuffed toys are meant to be chew toys and that when someone plays fetch and retrieve with tennis balls that it is an inside activity! When he is outside, he loves going to dog parks and dog beach and rides nicely in the car. He'll play with other dogs although he hasn't lived with one in either of his two homes. We don't know how he would be around cats. Bruce is house broken and sleeps on the floor next to his human's bed. Bruce will sit and wait for his food and he's excited about learning more good doggie manners. He can be a little shy when he meets people he doesn't know for the first time but within a short period of time, he'll warm up to you. If you like to run or jog, Bruce will be by your side. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100%25 tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend!
