　　More than one year ago, Arrow and his littermates and their mom were left in a night box at a high kill shelter. No food, no water, no shelter. They were left alone with the chance that maybe they would be alive when staff found them in the morning. Fortunately Rescue stepped in to help and now Arrow needs your help. Along with Ari, one of his littermates, Arrow is still waiting for his forever home. You may ask why this cute little guy was named Arrow. Well, when he was a wee puppy, he had a black line in his fur down his back so Arrow was the perfect name. The black arrow has blended in with the rest of his fur but the name has stayed! Arrow is housebroken, crate trained and is working on his basic obedience skills. There are lots of dogs in his foster home and while he is submissive to them, he does love them a lot. And he's good with the resident cats. Arrow also loves his toys. Arrow tends to bark if he is left alone so he'd like lots of human company. Even if you are home, he's not shy about letting you know he's nearby and would love to have your attention. Arrow can't wait for his forever home because being on the receiving end of lots of socialization is on his list of things to have. Are you the family for him?

They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way! The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100%25 tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems. Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers. We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend!
