Amigo IS AVAILALBE (updated daily) To meet any of our dogs you must first complete the online adoption application. We aren't sure what Amigo's mixed with ... German Shepherd with a splash of Keeshond, maybe some Noreweigan Elkhound? What we are sure of is that he's 100% pure love! Amigo was rescued with his 'girlfriends' (Anala and Amelia) who were both adopted long ago. While he's patiently awaited his forever home, Amigo has made good friends with lots of his kennel buddies and is a favorite of his caretakers. Amigo is good with most of the dogs he meets ... however, he often likes to be the 'man in charge' and would do best in a home with another female canine buddy and strong human leadership (no kitties or small dogs for this guy!) Amigo's a lover, a leaner and his favorite thing is asking you to 'shake' by giving you his paw. He's also quick to rollover for a good 'ol fashion belly rub! Though Amigo once lived with young children, we think his ideal home is one with adults only or older kids (he means well but sometimes, he loves his people so much that he's a little forceful with his paw). Amigo really loves people and would love sitting in your lap - yes, he's a little big but he doesn't care! Amigo is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is doing great! We have no doubt that Amigo will make his new family very happy. He's an easy-keeper, great on walks, medium-energy and perfect age -- no longer an adolescent but still has lots of life and love to give! (29)
