Georgie's story
Georgie is a pug/boxer mix. He is 5 months old and up to date on his vaccinations. He had an esophagus constriction that was surgically corrected but still needs to be feed dry food grounded down with water to form a gruel. One day he may be able to eat solid dog food. He is not fully potty trained yet due to his medical need. He loves to play fetch, knows how to sit on command and he's not afraid of the vacuum cleaner. He is a typical puppy and unfortunately loves to chew on everything and tries to eat everything. He will need lots of toys to redirect him. He doesn't whine or bark when left alone or at night but does bark when playing. He is a bright, happy, and healthy puppy except for needing a special diet. He is fed him 4 times a day to make sure he is getting enough nutrients because his food has to be put in a coffee bean grinder and water added in. We have had no problems with him regurgitating since the day we rescued him. Regurgitation can cause pneumonia so we're pleased to not have this issue so far. Georgie was only 2.3 pounds when we got him and now he is almost 12 pounds.
