George's story
George is one of four kittens from a litter of nine that was found on a farm in South Texas. He was brought to Colorado to be socialized and now is ready for his forever home.
George is very special because he is a bob tail! Even though he has a shorter tail, it does not slow him down. If anything, it speeds him up! The unusual tail is actually the result of a spontaneous random genetic mutation within the domestic cat population, and may be related to the Manx cat gene. But mythology says the short tail is a result of a cross between a domestic short hair cat and a wild bobcat. Knowing George, he may just have a little wild bobcat in him. George is very active and playful, ready to launch an attack, climb, or jump on anything that he can. He is very curious. He loves to wrestle with his sibilings. He would do best going to a home with one of his sibilings or another cat.
