Gemma is such a sweet and petite girl. She's full of love and would be the perfect cat for you if your looking for a kitty who will sit on your lap while you're watching tv, rub her face against yours when you wake up in the morning, and lick your hand if you offer it. Gemma is the "mother hen" of her foster home - all of the other cats go to her for grooming sessions!

　　Gemma does get along with other cats, but we think she has spent enough of her time taking care of other felines in her foster household, so we'd love it if she could have a human all to herself. She has an issue with excessive grooming, which the vet thinks could be due to skin allergies or stress. She's been extensively tested and treated, but insofar a solution has not been found. We are hopeful that her issues will resolve once she is in a home of her own, and we are still looking for solutions for her!
