My story

　　Hi there! My name is Gecko and you are looking at one very lucky fellow! A few weeks ago I was lost and hanging around a nice neighborhood. Several people saw me and knew I needed some help! You see, I was so thin and emaciated that if a slight breeze came along it would have blown me over! I also had an old stiff collar and chain attached that left marks on my neck. Ouch! The kind neighbors called Animal Control for some help! I rode away with the deputy and arrived at the shelter to be given a big dog run, a big bowl of food, and a nice comfy bed! A day or two later one of the nice employees was walking by my dog run, when she and I just looked at each other and "connected! She made me her "project dog! Now let me tell you that it is very special to become a "project dog! My special friend visited with me every day, brought delicious special food for me, and took me outside when she could! As the weeks went by I gained weight and my sweet and loving personality begin to shine through! I am a terrier mix that is about nine months old. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am a volunteer and employee favorite! I love tummy rubs and playing with my stuffed toys! I can actually "throw my stuffed toy and then run catch it all by myself!! I'm a sweet boy that craves love and affection! After you meet me I know you will want me to be a part of your family!
