Gauge 30327's story
Gauge is a 3-year-old male Black Lab mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He came to PAHS as a stray from out in the county and we were so surprised that his owner never came looking for him. Gauge's coat is black with gorgeous chocolate highlights that may not show up in his pictures but you can see them in sunlight. Gauge is a big guy; he weighs in at 76 pounds so he is considered to be a large adult dog. Being a typical Lab, Gauge is very friendly and affectionate. He greets you with his huge tail wagging constantly. Gauge would be good in a home with children but his size would probably not make him a good choice for a family with small children. Gauge would never intentionally hurt a child but he might accidentally knock a small child down. He is well behaved and leash trained. Gauge would appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. We believe he would be fine with another dog in his home but a meet and greet with your dog would be advisable if you have another dog in your home. Gauge is just a great all around dog and we would love to see him adopted to a family who will assure him of a forever home.
