My story

　　Hi everyone, I'm Garfield! When I first arrived at the shelter, I was very fearful. I would not let anyone near me, and I hissed and swiped at anyone who got close! However, with love, patience, and a whole lot of kitty squeezy treats, the staff and volunteers at Cat Care Society have helped me open up and become very sweet and friendly. I'm making more progress every day! I still get nervous if you make any sudden movements, and I may be a bit standoffish towards new people... But if you are patient with me, I become a huge lap kitty who wants endless snuggles and headbutts. I would love to go to a home with other kitties, or be adopted with my buddy Big Red!
