My story
Colt is an Owner Surrender because of a divorce situation. He is an incredibly sweet one-year-old with lots of energy who needs to have another dog in the house for him to be happy. He was brought into rescue with another dog so he has never been an only dog. While in his foster home his name has been changed to Colby because he actually answers to it!
On his wish list for his forever home is another dog, a large fenced-in yard with a tall fence because this boy has legs for days!! He would love to have an active family to keep him busy so he can be exhausted at the end of the day and then it is time to cuddle! This boy is the best when it comes to cuddles! Since his former owners worked all the time it would be great if he was in a home where at least one person was home most of the time. He really enjoys all the attention he is getting in his foster home at the moment and it would be nice to continue that situation. He does have a sensitive stomach so no Peanut Butter in this boy's Kongs, but he does love Pumpkin so "bring it on!" He didn't know what a Kong was until recently so he can really entertain himself with one. Cats are unknown so probably not a good idea to have one in the house. This boy is going to steal your heart and your bed if you let him!
Colby can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Contact GA Coordinator Kathy Miller @ [email protected] if you are interested in more information on GA/Colt
If you have any questions or would like to adopt GA/Colt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
